Congratulations, Geoff on locking up the final seed! Because of the hosting issues, I am going to allow for the NFC Champion Hammond to have the #1 overall seed, with Canton taking the #2 seed.

So the seeds for the playoffs shape up like this:

Dayton#4 (7-3)(2-0) at Hammond#1 (6-4)(2-0).

Columbus#3 (8-2) or (7-3),(2-1) or (1-2) at Canton#2 (9-1)(2-1).

The second mark is your record head to head. The last game of the season pits Jim against Sean as Rock Island visits Columbus. Here is the file. Good luck to both coaches.

CANTON OHIO ACTION LEAGUE

Welcome to the Canton Ohio Action League! We are a 9 team league where each owner is represented by a "franchise" team and in turn, that NFL team represents an original founding franchise of the NFL. Each team is comprised from a combination of 3 NFL teams. The combined records of all 3 teams are representative of a .500 record total, based on the team’s actual finish from the replay season. We are currently replaying the 1978 season. This is the 3rd year for our league, and the second under this replay system. Three teams are comprised of either 2 or 3 teams from each conference in the NFL and play in the Pete Rozelle Conference. The AFC teams compete in the Lamar Hunt Conference, and the NFC teams compete in the George Halas Conference. At the end of the season, the top team from each conference along with 1 wild card team make the playoffs and the winners of those games go on to play in the SUPER COAL championship game for the Lombardi Trophy! Good luck to all owner/coaches and let's have a great season!!!

The Dayton Triangles use a strong defensive performance and the legs of MVP RB Greg Pruitt to dominate the Rochester Jeffersons and post a decisive 22 – 6 victory in SUPER COAL II. Congratulations to all the coaches and look forward to our next exciting season, which will feature the 1978 season and the above division alignments.

INTERESTED OWNERS PLEASE READ!

Currently, we have 7 owners to play in a HEAD TO HEAD football league using Action PC 2006 software.  We will be using the 1978 NFL season disk for the upcoming season and advancing through NFL history (only 1 season played per year). This will be an off-season/in-season, head to head football league.  All owners must own a copy of the Action PC for Windows 2006 software.  This league will all but require its members to play Head to Head over the internet, so do not join if you do not think you can fill this commitment. If interested please contact the commish.....
