BIO:   

• I live in Brooklyn NY, for the last 19 years, previous to that 6 year in Queens, and 12 upstate NY in the mountains, where I intend to return when I can collect my pension in about 3 years.   

•  I have 4 children ranging in age from 16-37, play in 2 Strat baseball leagues, 1 PCA football league and two PCA Basketball leagues.

•  The most defining event in my life was when I rec'd a heart transplant in 2000.   It completely changed my focus. 

   

  Most of my free time now is spent staying in shape, I row on a machine at the gym 3x a week for 45 minutes and walk 3-5 mile a day.  I also visit the transplant center 2-3 times a month to visit waiting patients and help encourage them, show that they can return to productive lives. 

   

  I'm currently training pretty intensely for the U.S. Transplant games (an Olympic type event) in which I'll be competing in basketball, racquetball, bowling and field events.  Or as many of those as I can before I hurt this old body.

•  Then when I have time (my work schedule is very flexible) thank god, I stop in at my place of employment for 4-5 hours a day.  Nice of me huh?
