DESCRIPTION
T34-76 M41
The
T-34 is a Soviet medium battle tank that entered service with the Red Army
in 1940.
Descended
from the “BT” fast tanks, it represented a remarkable balance between
the three fundamental components that characterize the quality of an
armored vehicle: firepower, protection and mobility. It played an
essential role on the Eastern Front during the Second World War, making
the T-34 tank one of the most successful of its kind.
The
T-34 is considered by many to be the best tank of the Allied forces and
one of the best tanks of the Second World War.
