Sdkfz 222/223 Armored Cars Sdkfz 222 It is armed with a 20mm cannon and a mg34. From 1942 the 20mm Kwk30 gun was replaced by the Kwk 38 of the same calibre, it was longer, had better penetration and a higher firing rate. It accommodates 3 crew members. It was produced from 1935 to 1944 with about 2400 copies. The late version has a raised chassis. Sdkfz 223 It is a radio car with a frame antenna, an improved Fug12 radio and a radio operator. Armed with a mg34. Produced about 570 units from 1936 to 1944.
