PACKERS WIN SUPER BOWL I (by John Deason)

Tennessee 17 vs Green Bay 28
This game featured 9 punts and 2 missed gimme field goals.Brett Farve thows for 367 Yards,but still falls to Matt Schuab and his 4 TD passes 28-17. After Tennessee's opening punt,Green Bay goes 10 plays and 59 yards as MVP Schuab completes a 5 yd td pass to Ron Heller.7-0 Farve takes the Titans 80 yds in 6 plays and finishes with a 11 yd TD to Hines Ward (7/156 yds)7-7 The next 4 series end in punts. Schaub then completes a 7 play 56 yard drive with a 3 yard TD to Robert Meachem 14-7 Tennesee follows with a FG after a nice 14 play 65 yd drive,14-10 Schaub follows back with a 2 yd td pass to Davone Bess after a 12 play 85 yd drive.21-10

The second half was bizzare

after the Packers opening drive ends in a punt,Titans get the ball on the 12 yard line and on 4th and 2 at the 20,fail to convert,putting GB in the red zone. On 1st down,Schaub thows a pick to Brackett. Farve then completes a 14 yard pass to Ward,who fumbles and GB recovers.4 plays later,Sishium misses a 35 yard FG. Tennesee then turns the ball over on downs ,only to have the Pack miss another from 33. Farve then throws a 51 yd TD pass to Ward 21-17 Following a punt and another turnover on downs,Green Bay strikes again with a 10 play 67 yard drive,ending with aTD pass to Derrick Mason for 8 yards. 28-17 after 2 more punts ,Tennesee is driving 8 plays 73 yards completes a pass to Richardson who fumbles on the 2 and Green Bay recovers and then runs out the clock.

Packers defense stopped the Titans on all 4 of their 4th down conversions.

This was an exciting game. Congrats to Pete Katsafanas for a great season

Need to get PAID by APRIL 21---so can participate in FUTURES DRAFT week of the real NFL Draft on Monday & Tuesday April 25 and 26.

Also owners can still send me suggestions to change for the league.....we WILL have a league wide chat VIA chat room found on website SATURDAY April 23rd at 7pm CDT.

All suggestions will be discussed and than will need a majority vote from the owners present to pass.

DRAFT your entire team! Yes, draft your entire team—be your GM of your team. All the rookies for this version of Action PC football game included in the draft. Draft 55 players to fill your roster and to meet roster requirements.

Franchises will be awarded to serious owners after email commish @ thornbaker@myactv.net. Below are the available (OPEN) teams.  To see the ownership group click on TEAMS link.

Draft 2010 and beyond

The first round of the draft will occur on the Tuesday & Wednesday of the week of the REAL NFL Draft. The draft order of FNFL will be followed as teams will need to RESEARCH players coming into the NFL for REAL and draft accordingly. Each FNFL team will than RETAIN their players rights till they are carded on Action! PC Football disk the following year.  IT WILL MAKE THE DRAFT FOR ONE ROUND AS CLOSE TO THE NFL DRAFT AS POSSIBLE!

The rookie/free agent draft will continue with rounds 2-11 with FNFL teams following draft order to draft players that are on current Action! PC Football disk.

 

Prior to the start of the rookie/free agent draft, teams will cut their rosters to 45 players and the unprotected players will be available in the rookie/free agent draft.

 During rookie/free agent draft, all owners are responsible for participating during their specified date and time slot.   An owner may have someone else make a pick for him or send a list to the Commissioner if he is unable to make his pick on the designated day.

LEAGUE DUES: $5.00 per team. - cover cost of website maint. and archives.
